What means the message "Shopping cart XXXX locked by user YYYY"?

Hi Gurus,

Monitor -> Monitor Shopping Cart -> Number of shopping cart -> Start

In the view at "Messages" column appears "Shopping cart XXXX locked by user YYYY"

What this means?

The user YYYY is the last approver, this shopping cart is already approved.

The items of this shopping cart do not appear at "Redistribution of workload" or "Carry out Sourcing" screen of purchaser.

How can I to solve this?

Hi Gurus,

My problem was solved. I executed the BBP_PDIGP_DB_DIRECT_UPDATE FM with IV_SOURCE_REL_IND = X and the item now appears at "Carry out Sourcing" screen of purchaser.

The message "Shopping cart XXXX locked by user YYYY" still appears at Monitor, but the principal problem was solved.

I executed BBP_PD_SC_UNLOCK FM but any message did not return to me.

The message continues appearing in the "Messages" column

I check SM58, SM04 and SM12 transactions but the user YYYY does not appear in any.

Some other idea?

'BBP_PD_SC_UNLOCK' FM you can try since sap recommend to unlock in the pradeep supplied note

you can try see the correction code in the note 336169 . only one cart right you can do.

Hi,

I guess the user YYYY is editing the SC or middle of approval or lock entry was not deleted with some issue. Please check the SM12 transaction.

We had same issue in SRM5.0 long time back. It was a standard bug, please check for the SAP note. Coudnt remember the exact note we implementend.
