Hi,

I need to change the password of the user that the XI system use to write the interfaces files in the server.

For example, our interfaces files are writen in the UNIX system with the user 'interfac' and for auditory reasons I need to change the password of it but I don't know where I can change it in XI? I don't know where this user is created...

Thanks for the help!!

Hi,

If you are writing a file on UNIX server, the user is also created in UNIX server.

1) Change password in Unix system

2) Update password in XI communication channels.

Hi Carlos,

That user would be XIadmin if you are using xi or PIadmin if you are using PI. This is an OS user which helps in writing files on the server.

Hi Carlos,

That user would be at Operating system level. So please login into the xi box and change the user which is on that box. I am not sure which OS you are having. So I could not tell the process.
