When I am pinging the router IP I am getting hostname sapserv3.wdf.sap.corp

But pinging only sapserv3 is not giving any result.

Can you try to ping sapserv3.wdf.sap.corp from your SAP server? You can also ping the IP 147.204.2.5 and check whether this is connecting or not

If ping test is fine, in SM59 can you try to use Load Balancing "yes" then provide message server hostname ( probably sapserv3.wdf.sap.corp) and group EWA. Just check if SAPOSS is connecting

126.6.6.3 is our IP address.

Yo need a saprouter service in this host.

Please configure the OSS1 transaction Parameters/Technical settings,

Check sap note 17285 and then test the test SAPOSS RFC destination.

with transaction /sm59.

Yeah...Ping should not work...That time when i pinged those servers I was in SAP network.. But outside its not working I checked.

Can you change router to sapserv4 (from oss1) . IP 204.79.199.2. and configure your SM59 without load balancing. Check if that works

When you are doing "connection test" what is the error message you are getting?

Check if you have configured router correctly

As of now we do not configured any SAP Router. Do I need to configure SAP Router?

Yes,

You need configure a saprouter services, today is mandatory.

Follow these steps:

After you finish the installation of sap router, put a message to sap and assign to group XX-SER-NET-NEW

You have the latest version of SAProuter (available from the SAP Service Marketplace (http://service.sap.com/swcenter-main)) and have read the readme file.

The SAProuter version must not be under 23.

Procedure

...

1. Create the subdirectory saprouter in the directory <drive>:\usr\sap.

2. Download the latest version of the SAProuter from SAP Service Marketplace. Read the readme file in this package. Copy the executables saprouter.exe and niping.exe to the directory you have just created.

If there is no SAProuter there, you can get a version (may be obsolete) from your directory <drive>:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\run.

3. If SAProuter has already been entered as a service with srvany.exe, remove the definition of the service from the Registry and restart the host.

4. Define the service with the following command:

ntscmgr install SAProuter -b ...\saprouter\saprouter.exe -p u201Cservice -r <parameter>u201C

Please note:

The points stand for <drive>:\usr\sap

<parameter> can be replaced by other parameters with which SAProuter is to be started. See. SAProuter Options). It is important that the parameters are within the character string enclosed in double quotation marks.

5. Define the general attributes of the service: In Control Panel u00AE Services, set the startup type to u201Cautomaticu201D and enter a user. SAProuter should not run under the SystemAccount.

6. To avoid the error message u201CThe description for Event ID (0)u201D in the Windows NT event log, you must enter the following in the registry: Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE u00AE SYSTEM u00AE CurrentControlSet u00AE Services u00AE Eventlog u00AE Application, create the key saprouter and define the following values under it:

EventMessageFile (REG_SZ): ....\saprouter\saprouter.exe

TypesSupported (REG_DWORD): 0x7

Note

These adjustments are not obligatory for running SAProuter. They are only used for providing detailed error messages in the event log.

Maintain the Route Permission Table in the system32 directory of Windows NT. If you want to store the table in another directory or under a name other than saprouttab, you have to specify this using the SAProuter option -R (see Option R <routtab>).

Hi,

To configure the SAProuter you have to follow some procedures.

Read the below OSS Notes:-

SAP Note 28976_Remote_connectiondata_sheet

SAP Note 35010_service_connection

Hi,

check the file services locate in %systemroot%\system32\drivers\etc

and make sure that you have the following entry:

sapdp99 3299/tcp

after you make a change you need to restart a server.
