Hello all,
I am getting the following error in my BPM scenario.
Permanent error in BPE inbound processing
Error during start of process of type <task no> by message <message id>
Could anyone throw some light on this please?

Check the following:
1) BPM has return code of 0 in SXI_CACHE.
2) Open BPM in Integration repository and do a check (press F7)
3) Ensure the BPM in ID is updated one..
4) Your BPM seems to be failing at the first step...in SXMB_MONI click on the link PE and check the Graphic workflow and check where it has failed.
5) go to transaction SWWL and delete the errored instance of your BPM.

did you have a look at OSS note:
OSS note 1126656 - BPE-TS: Permanent errors in the BPE inbound processing
?
it usually means that BPM design is incorrect in some way
