Initial Setup for Functional Unit PI Adapter Engine (AE) not visible

Former Member

Dear Team,

I have recently installed PI 7.1 Patch Level 07 on my new Production Cluster Hardware setup with Windows Server 2003/ MSSQL 2005. While performing the post installation steps, I was able to complete the NetWeaver Initial Setup successfully. As a next step I need to run the Wizard " Initial Setup for Functional Unit PI Adapter Engine(AE)" but the same is not visible there in the list.

While installing the DEV Box, it was there and I had no problem running the same.

Kindly suggest what could be the reason and how to resolve the same

Thanks

Jitendra Tayal

Go to the SLD then select techical systems, chose system type PROCESS INTEGRATION and check if you see under the productive domain a component with type XI Adapter Framework.

Then try with a refresh of the CPA cache.

I am trying that with the following URL

But it is showing the following Error:

You are not authorized to view the requested resource.

Details: No details available.

Can you suggest a better way to refresh the CPA cache or which User ID should I use for this purpose. I have tried with J2EE_ADMIN and pisuper but result is same

Thanls

Hi,

You should use XIDIRUSER (PIDIRUSER).
