hi kaushal,
when i run the ITS service in SICF its working fine.
I have created a system in portal and configured the following property categories.
1. WAS
WAShost:<EPservername>:50000
WAS path: /sap/bc/bsp/sap
WASProtocol:http.
2. Connector(ECC5.0)
I have given connector properties.
3. User Management
4. ITS
HOst: <Server>:8000
Server name taken from SE80->utilities->settings->ITS
ITS path: sap/bc/gui/sap/its
ITS protocol: http
i have done the usermapping also and i have created a transactional iview and selected SAP GUI for HTML.
i am getting "page cannot be displayed" page when i preview the iview.
Thanks in advance,
Gopi
hi gopi
its path should be /sap/bc/gui/sap/its
not sap/bc/gui/sap/its
make sure the host name is same as R3 host name
and one more thing WAS ABAP and ITS port must be same!!!
for integrated ITS check ur WAS port and server name
tha path indicate that this is for BSP system but in host name u provide epservername
and when u open a iview for preview which url it's open?
iview is for which tranasaction?
r u sucessfull launch following url?
http://host.domain.com:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui

hi kaushal,
we were able to launch this url(below).
http://host.domain.com:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
the following is the url which we are getting when we say preview.
http://<epserver>:50000/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/pcd!3aportal_content!2ftest!2fECC_ITS
the transaction for which we are doing is SU01.
In the WAS property category we have changed the epservername and given the <ABAP hostname>:8000.
Still we getting the same error.
Thanks in advance,
Gopi
Hi GOPI
the page not found error related to invalid path of ITS server.
http://host.domain.com:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui
is working indicate no problem with ITS
check this iveiw with Wingui type. this checks the connection to sap system is working.
what is a system alias u assign in GUI with HTML iview.
i.e your iview which is not displayed
regards,
kaushal
hi kaushal,
i have tested this with wingui type. it works fine.
but if SAP GUI type is webgui its not working.
ECC_ITS is the system alias which i have created in system administration->system congiguration.
when i say preview a page is displayed which shows the message
"page cannot be displayed'.
Thanks,
gopi
HI Gopi,
Have you enabled the SAP GUi for HTML for using in the Transaction iViews?
Please follow the precodure as specified in the document
<a href="http://help.sap.com/bp_epv260/EP_JA/documentation/How-to_Guides/WAS/Enabling%20the%20SAP%20GUI%20for%20HTML%20with%20the%20integrated%20ITS%20on%20SAP.pdf">Enabling the SAP GUI for HTML with the Integrated ITS on SAP Netweaver '04</a>
After this, you can check the Transaction iViews.
HOpe this helps,
Regards,
Siddhartha
Hi,
First of all you need to enable ITS in the ECC system
step-by-step can be found here
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/3d/b5f9c2ea65c242957ee504ca4a37a9/frameset.htm
then create a system in the portal with your ecc host and parameters.
then you need to create new transactional iview, use the HTML GUI, and enter the name of the system you have just created.
and have fun!
