Hello all,
When running /nsxmb_ifr,
I get the error:
Enterprise Services Builder address not maintained
But - for me, SLDCHECK runs fine I get green lights for everything.
Also, http://<host>:port/rep also has no problem. I click on the Enterprise Services Builder and again everything runs fine
So then why am I getting this error when running the transaction?
I have seen the following:
https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1688 [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]
Some make mention of running Java Web Start. I do not see this under Programs for Windows.
Where is it supposed to be?
Good points will be awarded for a useful answer
TIA
Hey,
Avoid using Java Web Start -1.4, Try with 1.5 or 1.6

Thanks for the response
How can I tell what version of Webstart is being used? I don't see it under the Programs (under Windows) but it works when
running Enterprise Services Builder under http://<host>:<port>/rep

OK, I did as you said to get to the Java icon.
When doing so, got 5 tabs:
General
Update
Java
Security
Advanced
I went to the Java tab. Only one button was there "View"
I clicked on it.
It then popped up "Java Runtime Versions" with 2 tabs:
User
System
For User, it showed 1.6.0_15 and 1.4.2_12 (both were enabled)
For System, it showed 1.6.0_15 only (this was enabled)
TIA
Hi again,
I removed the Java software, restarted the Windows part and checked to be sure that the 1.4 version was gone - is this still used by NWDS 7.0? It would be good to access this too
I ran the transaction again and got the same error.
Its old, but it also said:
I think I can help you.Follow me to do this.
1. open http://<j2ee_host>:<j2ee_port>/exchangeProfile in ie
2. log on with xisuper
3. choose connection
4. enter all the required information
5. Choose set (if ok the right frame will view nothing)
6. choose import
7. choose /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/global/exchange_profile.xml
8. choose import data
9. everything will be ok O
I have seen something like this before but the part that threw me off was item #4
Enter all the required information?!?
Under connection, many properties. Is there a minimal subset to define to make this work? Where is someone supposed to find these values?
Also, the reason for running the transaction was because I was following this:
http://www.riyaz.net/blog/xipi-your-first-xi-scenario/
to create my first scenario. In it, it says to do the following:
Go to Start Integration Builder (Transaction SXMB_IFR) -> System Landscape Directory -> Software Catalog
and
Access path u2013 Start Integration Builder (Transaction SXMB_IFR) -> System Landscape Directory -> Technical Landscape
These look like some kind of access to the SLD - so - can one just go to the SLD directly and bypass this since SXMB_IFR it does not seem to work under 7.1?
TIA
