Hi we had ECC, BI ,EP and Web dispatcher (load balancing) systems in our landscape. Previously CCMS configuration has done to ECC and BI systems only. Now we are planning to configure CCMS to EP and Web dispatcher system. Is it possible to configure CCMS to Java components? if can, How can I configure CCMS to EP ad web? Please give me your advices and provide me any
documents to configure it.
ECC6,BI7 and Web dispatcher is installed on AIX/DB2 and EP7.0 is installed on windows/Db2.
Thanks.
Nani
Hi Nani,
Follow these steps:
Steps:
1) Log on to the host of a J2EE Engine of the system as <SID>adm.
2) Copy the file CSMCONF on the J2EE Engineu2019s host, switch to the following directory:
E:\usr\sap\ccms\EPD_01\sapccmsr
3)Start J2EE Engine <J2EE home directory>\JC<Inst. No.>\j2ee\admin\go.bat
4)Log on to Visual Administrator as administrator
5) In the navigation bar Select Cluster <SysID> then Select Dispatcher
Select --> Services Monitoring CCMS Agent Configuration tab page.
According to your CSMREG file the two users will pop-up.
6) Enter the password for the Administrator and CSMREG for the CEN in client 000.
The log will be generated instantly you can see whether it produced any errors. A SAPCCMSR service agent will be created.
All the best!!!

1. System Monitoring using SAPCCMSR (like it already configured using SAPCCM4X for ABAP systems) (help.sap.com)
2. GRMG/GRMG Lite Monitoring of html pages (like portal, sld pages) (search SDN)
3. End to End Root Cause Analysis ( service.sap.com/diagnostics)

Nani,
This link will help you to do EP monitoring.
Also you can configure GRMG to check if portal page is up or no.
