Hi all,

im fetching records from the PA0210 where i have a field EXIND which is of CHAR1.

its having value ranges

FIX VAL DESCRIPTION

Y Exempt, not reportable

R Exempt, reportable

X Exempt, partly reportable

now when im fetching the record in my WD application im getting the FIX VAl .

but my req is to show the description in the layout not the FIX VAl.

how can i achieve this.

ur inputs will be appreciated.

Hi Santosh,

You can achieve this by making your field as a DROPDOWN and setting it as display only.

For DROPDOWNS, description will appear in the field by default instead of fixed value.
