Target stock level method

Dear group mmbers,

I am trying to use target stock level method with target days' supply from product master and decided target day's supply as 10.

Case 1. let's assume, there aare 3 demands, for example,

1000 pcs on 2009.08.29,

500 pcs on 2009.09.20,

300 pcs on 2009.09.24

In this case, when I run heuristic SAP_PP_002, the results are

1000 pcs on 2009.08.29,

800 pcs on 2009.09.20

Case 2. let's assume, there aare 3 demands, for example,

1000 pcs on 2009.09.10, <= only difference

500 pcs on 2009.09.20,

300 pcs on 2009.09.24

In this case, the result are

1500 pcs on 2009.09.10,

300 pcs on 2009.09.24

How can understand this ? I want to know the planning logic for target stock calculation.

Please instruct me for this ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Lee, Seung Won

Hi Seung,

Please go through the link:

In first look it seems to be a calender problem. You have to first read the data for date in the macro and then you have to force the macro to push the same data in planning book.

Frst try to check in daily bucket : if it will come correct then add the dates and aggregate as per you requirement.

You can write a macro for reading the data.

Let me know if you need further clarification
