Hi All,

How to control the date format through scripting in PDF print forms.

I have seen three formats for Date using DateFmt( 1, Locale ) , DateFmt ( 2, Locale ) and DateFmt( 3, Locale ).

All these give different formats. I want format like 25.08.2009.

How to achieve the same ?

Hi,

You can try formatting in the properties tab,go to the object property of the date element- field tab - Display pattern and select the pattern which ever suits your requirement.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

In the Field- display patteren only 4 options are there.

My requirement is 30.12.2009 which is not available.

Any other option to achieve this ?

It is not necessary to choose one of the four forms. You can put your own pattern as well, as long as it is accepted.

Try DD-MM-YYYY.

Type your own format as DD.MM.YYYY

Thanks and Regards,
