XML to IDOC conversion

Hi All,

I want to send a XML from the XI system and I want SAP to receive it as an IDOC

. How to do that ?

anybody any idea.

Hi Santosh,

This is an inbound IDoc scenario. PI always sends out messages in XML format, which is converted by the adapter to the format that is acceptable to the target system.

1.Check if there is a standard idoc for your requirement.Else build an Idoc in SAP system with the required structure.

2.Build the structure of your source xml in the Repository.And import the idoc into repository.

3.Then develop the mapping which will map the xml structure to the idoc

4.Do rest of the developments usually done in the repository and directory to complete the scenario.
