Hi Experts,

I just want to know,

what are the different way of giving authorization based on which parameters in a Project,

Example: Based on org parameters like Business area, plant ,profit ceter etc....

Based on Person responsible,applicant number and Project type...

Like above...what are the other ways to create roles and authorization for restriction of access to PS Project and WBS.

Hi Ashis,

As you mentioned, we can give authorizations based on organization structure and Person responsible.

This is the basic criteria we define in any Organization to restrict authorizations.

Coming to the implementation of authorization based control, we have to create roles like Project manager, Project funds manager, project controller, project executioner...like that.

These are all roles which we can create and provide authorizations with specific authorization objects (mentioned in the above threads). Once we define roles for proejcts team, we will decide the relevant transaction codes to be assigned to these roles and can be restricted as per the organization's working pattern (departmental execution) by providing authorizatioin with relevant Org.Elements like Controlling area, Company code, Business area, plant, MRP Controller.
