can somebody tell me how to assign my smartform to the transaction code CO02?

Hello,

You can assign new SMARTFORM to the OUTPUT type in the transaction code NACE

Goto the Transaction code NACE and select the Appllication as P1 and then goto the OUTPUT types in the Menu , choose your OUTPUT type and click on the PROCESSING ROUTINES in the control tab left side.

There u will find the option to add the *SMARTFORM* and the PRINT PROGRAM for different mediums.

Hi

Goto T code NACE and select P1 - Direct production. Click on Output types bottom and select your output type for which you want to assign samartform, click on processing routines link on left hand side. Here you can assign smartform to output type.

when i select output types, there are 4 types displayed:MAL1, MAL2, MAL3, MAL4.

Do i need to create my own output type here or use one of those four?

Hi

If you are using Z program and Z smartform then it is advisable to go for new Z output type.

Create a new Z output type and follow the whole output determination procedure in SPRO.

You can use "OPK8" Transaction for Production order outputs.

You can change the Production Order settings through CO02 whereas smartforms furnish you with the

report customized as per your requirements. What is your requirement of assigning smart forms ?
