Display Name

Hi,

I can not update my display name any more in my profile.

Is there any procedure to follow to get my first name as my display name.

This feature has been disabled in SCN. You cannot do it from your end.

If you want to change your display name, you need to send a mail to sdn@sap.com

Hi Kishan/Vijay,

Seems its not possible to change the display name any more. I sent a mail to sdn@sap.com requesting them to change the display name but i got a reply stating that its not possible anymore as the SAP's legal group had made them stop changing the display name.

If they do not want us to edit the display name,then at least they should keep some provision like request by mail etc.

Just got a confirmation from SAP Network Team that the display name cannot be changed even from their side. So its confirmed that nothing can be done to change the display name anymore.

The other option is to create a new account and raise a request to merge your other account with the new one.

And I'm stuck with a first name just 6 letters away from yours.

Does this mean it is illegal to get married and adopt your husband or wife's family name?

Display name can be changed. All we need to do is to drop a mail to sdnATsapDOTcom.
