Hi..

I have Installed the PI 7.1 . i want to activate the ABAP Proxy for both sides. can you pls share the document for Activating the ABAP Proxys.

The blog mentioned by Satish is very good. Yes it is required and also follow the steps mentioned in the comments of that blog.

Yes ,you can to follow the same steps in PI 7.1 and ECC.

Yes Pasi. You are correct.

But the only difference would be the approach for coding the proxy. You can see michals blog for this.

ECC Side:

1) You need to create the RFC destination (HTTP)

2) You need to configure the Business system role is Application system using the Tcode(SXMB_ADM)

3) Generate the proxy: code: sporxy
