Asset Depreciation Up to the Actual Retirement Date - URGENT

We sold a high value asset (vessel) at 10-April-2006. For this asset I find out that the DEPRECIATION KEY used has a Period Control Method 02-"Pro rata upto mid period". This has as a result to calculate depreciation only upto March 2006 when we retire the asset.

What I <b>should do</b> to achieve depreciation up to the ACTUAL retirement date i.e 10th of April?

I tried to change the depreciation key and tick the checkbox "Depreciation to the Day" but this is not premitted since already Assets have been depreciated using this KEY.

Any tip will be appreciated!! Please help It is urgent.

try to use depr-key "MANU" and book depr. manually

I dont have such a depreciation key associated with my CHART of depreciations.

How can I ADD this depreciation key? When I go to AFAMA no such key is available to add it within my chart of depreciation. I understand that this KEY has not been copied to our CoDepreciation.

How can I see HOW this key is defined within some other CoD ? Is it possible, going to AFAMA to be able to work with other charts of dep ?
