Solution manager EHP1 7.0

Hi Experts,

We are currently running SAP Solution Manager 7.0 SP level 16. We would like to go for Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 support stack SP19.

Please guide us and what is the approach?

1) Reinstall Solution manager 7.0 EHP1 and apply stack till 19.

2) Upgrade solution manager 7.0 to 7.0 EHP1 ??

Hi,

Please use the below URL to download all necessary SP stacks.

http://service.sap.com/sp-stacks OR https://service.sap.com/sp-stacks

In the detailed pane section "SAP Support Package Stacks" select

SAP Solution Manager 7.0 with leading component SAPKITL4xx from the table.

This is a 3 step process

Step 1 of 3 - Choose your Source and Target Stack

Target Stack = "SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.0 EHP 1 19 (03/2009) "

Source stack -= " 16 (04/2008) Released "

Then proceed with other steps..

P.S. SolMAn SP18 onwards is known as 7.0 EhP1.

Thanks for your reply.. So to move from Solution Manager 7.0 SP16 to Solution manager 7.0 EHP1 SP19, do we just need to apply the support package stacks (source 7.0 16 and target 7.0 EHP1 SP 19)??

Do we not require to do a Fresh Install of 7.0 EHP1 or upgrade of 7.0 to 7.0 EHP1??

Please suggest!!

Hi Sandeep,

First appy the support pack stacks to SPS17 and then go for EHP1-SP 19.

Its just like support pack upgrade.

HI ,

We can just applied the packages and follow the note 1169247 to upgrade from Solman 7.0 to SOlman 7.0 EHP1

No need to install using the EHP installer

Just follow the note it quite easy
