data lentgh/size of the data types in XI

hi folks..!!

i was wondering about the size/lentgh of the datatypes provided in XI, i.e. for example, what is the Maximum size of the String allowed in XI,

I want the detailed document on this (about the max size allowed for each Data Type in XI).

If anybd cud help,i wud appreciate the same.

hi,

if you're talking about standard XML schema data types

used in the XI they are (should be) the same as in standard

http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-2/#built-in-datatypes

Michal if u can provide me wth the document on the Maximum size allowed for each xsd data type present in XI.

what is the default value of the length say for example

for xsd:short we could have (0-127) like this.
