Proxy generation error in SE80

HI,

I encountered the following error when trying to consume a webservice and create a proxy through SE80:

Exception occurred in communication framework:Error in HTTP Framework:404conn failedhttp://hostname.com/CorpWebServices/Details.asmx?wsdl

Exception of class CX_SLIB

Please help me in solving the same.

If you want to generate the WS proxy directly from SE80. But your system can ONLY access the external host via a HTTP proxy server. You have to active a global proxy for your HTTP client, which in SICF -> Client -> Proxy Settings.

Hi,

It seems like HTTP connection issue.

Download wsdl on local PC and then use it in wizard, make sure your ERP is able to connect external networks (normally blocked).
