Hi group members,
One of my customers said that when planning with PP/DS, the product silo's capacity should be considered and if the silo is connected into my customer's customer with a pipeline.
So I'm trying to model this requirements with container resource(storage resource) but how can I create container resource ?
1. Should this be transfered from R/3 or created in APO ?
2. What is the step-wise procedure for this modeling ?
Please instruct me for this.

Lee, Seung Won
Yeah, the problem is that you can't really define a container resource in ECC. All work centers are "time based".
Maybe there is an Industry Solution that allows other type of work centers, but I am not sure.

Hi Lee,
You can create and use container resources and model as Multimixed resource
in APO.
1. Should this be transfered from R/3 or created in APO ?
Both ways are possible
2. What is the step-wise procedure for this modeling ?
The following link will guide for creating and integrating
the multimixed resources as container resources

Dear Senthil,
Thanks for your input.
You mean that Should I transfer W/C form R/3 into APO and then define that resource as container resource ?
Or the resource shoud be defined as container capacity category ?
Would you please elaborate for the step ?
Thanks in advance for your cooperation.
