Hi All,
Can anyone help me how to create an Individual Object in CRM.
I have created Equipment in R/3,replicated to CRM.
Now when i am trying to create Installed Base i dont find any Individual Objects on the Individual Object tab in the Installed Base screen.
I have even done the required configuration of the Individual Object.
Please help me on this issue.
Thanks,
Kalyan
Hi Kalyan,
Individual obects are created in PCUI application.
One can create individual object in install base as well but there you cannot put in many details like which is the refernce object.
And ofcourse the pre-requisite is you have maintained the required setting for the individula object in CRM.

Hi,
Individual objects in CRM can be created within the InstalledBase creation.
On the individual object Tab, you can enter the name and create it in reference to Installed Base.
But to create Individual objects independent of Installed Base, you need to use PCUI application.

Hai Kalyan,
Check the Folowing.
1. Did you create a Prod. Category for Indi. Objects.
2. Check the set type and relationships in the Prod. Category TABS.
3. Check the Item Category Properties in the IMG if it allows Indi.Object to be created. Check there should a field.
4. Sometimes the Indi. Obj are displayed in the normal Prod.Lsit. so use the open folder button and check if your Inid.Obj opens.
Please post if you have the solution.

Hi Kalyan,
You can create the Installed Base from the CICO transaction. Just click on the HOME icon and create the installed base. It will ask you for the component details.
Once you create the IBASE, you can see the same in tables IBIB and IBIN.
Hope this helps.
Please reward points if it helps.

Hi Kalyan,
Could you check in table COMM_PRODUCT if the individual object was created there?

Hi Micheal,
I checked in table COMM_PRODUCT,i couldnt see the equipment number which has come from R/3,which should reflect as individual object in CRM.
Please let me know what is to be done in CRM side, for individual objects.
Bcoz of this problem i am unable to assign individual objects for the IBase i am trying to create under the EQ Category.
Thanks,
Kalyan
Hi Micheal,
Let me tell you what i have done.
I have a created an equipment in R/3(IE01).
I moved a material type Z_HAW(Trading goods) into CRM.
Now in CRM i tried to create another Category ID under this Z_HAW and assigned the Object Family(0401).
Now please tell me the equipment i created in R/3 should come into CRM as an individual Object.
Another problem is i dont see this equipment in CRM in the Table COMM_PRODUCT.
I will check out OSS note 549718.
Please tell me if any configuration settings i need to so that the equipment from R/3 comes over into CRM as an individual object, and helps me to assign that Individual Object to my IBase.
Thanks,
Kalyan
Hello Everyone,
Iam trying to Download Equipments from ECC 5.0 to CRM 5.0.
Iam getting a Validation Error in the Bdoc CRM_EQ_DMBDOC.
The Error Message is Assign a Base Category to the Product.
I have the Base Hierarchy R3PRODSTYP Assigned to the Application
Product.
And i cannot edit the Hierarchy or Categories since they are Downloaded
from ECC.
Please let me know how to Specify a Base Hierarchy/Category for the
Equipments to get Downloaded as Individual Objects.
I should also be able to create Individual Objects Directly in CRM.
Using IB51 too i get the Same Error it says Product Category not
Avaiable for Object Family 0401.
Please Advice!!!
Thanks & Regards
Kumar
