Contact Percon field not showing up in the vendor master record at creation

In the Vendor master account group under General Data - Contact Person in KRED or 0001, the contact Person field status is set to "optional".

When we try to create a vendor master record using XK01, the contract person fieid does nor appear any way in the general section.

Does anybody know how to access this optional field in the vendor master record at creation, change and display.

Go to tcode OMSG.

Select the relevant Vendor account group " KRED or 0001"

Then in the section for Field Status, select "General Data" & then in the next screen make the enrty for contact person optional

What I did not mention here is that the field status for the contact person is already set to "optional" in OMSG, but still does not display anywhere in the genral data section in transactions Xk01. XK02 or XK03.
