Maintain External Web Services

We have implemented SRM-MDM and we are maintaining the catalogs what are available in SRM from the SPRO  SRM  SRM Server  Master Data  Define External Web Services (catalogs, vendors lists etc.)

Our problem comes when this options is not transportable from Development to production and we have to maintain it from Production directly (open the system). Is there any way to maintain it in development and transport to production? Or, is there any transaction to go directly and give role permissions to it?

Hello Jordi,

There is no way to be able to transport from development environment to production environment your external web services definition.

Indeed, even if you can have same call structure between all environments, technical settings for your web service cannot be the same: for example, logical system is used among those data.

So, you have to see with your production team to open customizing via SCC4 transaction in order to allow you to make mandatory modifications.
