How to check whether JCO is installed properly?

Hi All,

I have installed JCO in the portal server.Now I need to check whether its running fine.How to go about??

there is a utility in the System Administration workset (or the Java Developer workset, depending on which version of the Portal you're running) to test SLD and JCO connections.

System Admin > Web Dynpro Content Administrator > Test JCO connections

Hi Jasmine,

GO to the page http://<server_name>:50000/webdynpro/welcome

Click the link Content Administrator

Enter the administrator user ID and password and click Log on

In the resulting screen click on the Maintain Jco Connection tabs.. (it should be active if JCO settings are installed proper in Server)...

It will show the JCO connections avilable.. Click the Test tab for the respective JCO connection that you want to test... a green icon is shown if it runs successfully.
