I want to use custom paragraph type when creating a Standard text. Could anyone guide in this regard?
Thanks
Krishna

I have created a new style using SE72 say 'ztest'. and in that created a new paragraph say 'ZA'
Now goto SO10 and Create a standar text. after select 'Format'->Change style-> select style created in last step. 'ZTEST'.
Now paragraph 'ZA' is available in creation of Standard text also

Hi,
Create a standard paragraph format with the Paragraph Formats tab.
Click on Paragraph formats tab, enter the name, where we can assign Font , left margin, right margin and tab space.
To assign this paragraph format to the text is
<S1>TEXT<S1>(S1 is a standard paragraph format)
Hope this helps you.

Rajani

Hi,
You cannot create custom paragrpah only for Standard Text.
Please create Paragraph format with your required font and etc.,. In editor where you are using calling Standard Text write a code as :
P1 INCLUDE STEXT OBJECT TEXT ID ST LANGUAGE EN
here P1 is custom created paragraph.

Hi Krishna,
To use a custom paragraph type you need to create a paragraph format.here is the way to create paragraph format
PARAGRAPH FORMAT TAB>EDIT->CREATE ELEMENT->PARAGRAPH FORMAT NAME->ENNTER.
This creates your paragrap format. Here you can set this as default paragraph format or you can use whereever required.
Hope this solves your problem.
Thank you,
Pavan.

Hi,
In paragraph formats, create a new paragraph with needed tabs, font, numbering and use it as required.
ex:
<p1>this is a new format ( p1 is the new paragraph format created )

Hi,
Are you using SAP script or Smart form?
If you care using smartform then symply find the style used in that smartform and create a new paragraph format in that and use that paragraph format for printing that standard text.
if you are using SAP script then create a new pragraph format in script and use that for printing the text.
