Hi!
In the process of performing a local client copy, a runtime error occurred. I found the SAP Note for how to correct this problem, but could not download the note in SNOTE because I didn't have any connection to OSS. So, my problem comes down to the following:
How to configure the RFC connection to OSS in SM59 (what is the target host)?
I created two parameters in my default profile:
rdisp/sna_gateway = SAPABAP
rdisp/sna_gw_service = sapgw00
I'm not sure if this is correct, but I managed to start the SAP gateway service after have done this...
All suggestions will be highly appreciated!
Cheers,
Kjell
Hi Kjell,
Please goto transaction OSS1 -> parameter -> technical settings. There you need to set up your connection to OSS. If you cannot connect this way to OSS then consider uploading notes into SNOTE using Loading a SAP Note.
Hope this helps.
Did you also have a second question about your gateway? This is not clear to me.
Kind regards,
Alexander Webster.
P.S. Points are welcome if my reply was helpfull

Hi Alexander!
Sorry about my late response. Thank you for your answer! It was helpful, but unfortunately it did not solve my problem...I still cannot connect to sapserv3. The default IP address is 147.204.2.5. Is this the correct address?
Is there anything else I have to configure (e.g. parameters in the default profile) to make this connection work?
Best Regards,
Kjell
Hi Kjell,
In order to connect to SAP systems like OSS and sapserv3 you need to have a direct connection to their network via a saprouter. If you do not have that please read note 137342.
After that is setup please refer to note 33135 to check OSS connections.
Sorry I cannot help you more at the moment. Please update the message if I can help with the setup.
Kind regards,
Alexander Webster
