Timout occurs while executing Zreports

Hi Gurus,

Many of Zreports inmy company terminates withous executing and throws ABAP Dump. I increased value of parameter

rdisp/max_wprun_time to 1000 but still problem pursue as it was before. Please help me in finding the solution for it. Also what will be its effect on system if parameter value is increased to something around 1500.

Please give me permanant solution upon it.

Create the index for the relevant tables in your Z-reports program, then try again, hope can help you!

Hi, the best solution is to run those reports in Background. Also tell your ABAPERs to modify/optimize program for report.

Hi vaibhav gore,

You can perform an sql trace and abap trace to find out the reason for the same.Check what table it is accessing and if there is no suitable index create one.
