SBO Logon Video

Hi All,

I wanted to know if there was a way to replace the opening video that plays when you start up SBO.

You can replace it, or even just rename the file if you want to get rid of the video; if SAP doesn't find the file it will just not play anything.

Which is what I have done with all our clients as it gets very monotonous

Keep in mind that if you make an client upgrade, the file will be restored to the default one.

This is the reason why we don´t change it anymore.

Hello Hannes,

Actually, there is a key in registry that you can set to block the video.

Under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\SAP Manage\SAP Business One

Add "ShowSplashScreen", and set value to 'N'.

Create a new string value named <i>ShowSplashScreen</i>.

And sorry to tell you that this does not help to solve the changing name problem.

I haven't tried this, but maybe if you replace the file:

C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\sapss.avi
