Hello,
I am having a wierd problem with SMQ2--
Problem: Messages are getting accumulated and being processed very slowly. Eventhugh there are many DIA WPs in waiting mode.
- Configured SARFC properly
- Configured enough AI_RUNTIME_XX connections
- Configured enough Queue parellalism
- Messages are taking a verylong time in DB_SPLITTER_QUEIUING
Did anyone have this kind of issue before? Did I miss anything?
Any help is greately appreciated.

Santhosh,
Before I posted the question, I have read through all the documents related to performance and tuned accordingly. I am doing the performance tuning for first time on installation with Oracle 10g. I have done the tuning before on other systems, but didn't face this issue. Is there anything different in Oracle 10g. By the way this is a new installation.
Did we miss any post installation activity related to Oracle?
Please advise..
Hey,
