Dear All,
We are planning to implement SD POD concept in one of our client Opco's.
The business case is that the customer would do the pgi for 100 quantity but during transport 5 quantities get lost for what so ever is the reason.
In this case the customer confirms receipt only of 95 qty. The remaining 5 will be done entered in POD document as differences. We want to know the movement type that needs to be picked up while carrying out the MIGO.
And if any one is aware of the details on posting if you can share that would be great.

I am a bit confused .. How the MIGO process come into the picture of Sale.
And if the case is of STO, then while receiving the goods you can change the quantity and receive only that much of material which you received actually.
So pl. provide more details of your scenario.

Amitesh is right, the POD is only for external customers, therefore no Goods Receipt (MIGO) is needed.
