Hello friends,
can any one please tell me what is the major diffrance between Bex reporting and Web reporting ?
It would be great for me.
Regards,
All the reports are created using Bex Analyzer, but you can execute these reports either in excel or in Web browser. You can also use WEB appl designer to create beauiful web templates using these reports.

and another advantage - though a slight one, is that web reporting is a 0 footprint solution - meaning it does not require any software installation on the client side (though I dont think it works very well with browsers other than IE).
with BEX you need to have MS Excel on teh client machines.
One major advantage in web reporting is that the MS Excel limitation on the number of columns and looks better than a normal BeX report in Excel.
Disdvantage is that you lose the amount of flexibility you have while working with excel and more so if you are comfortable with VBA. In web reporting you can use javascript but despite that I feel the funcionality becomes limited to quite an extent.
