Hi all,
When we are trying to settle a WBS element to Asset Master Record (AMR's) in CJ8G, it gives an error saying "Maximum Number of Items in FI reached" message number F5 727. The settlement rules are supposed to allow for 999 asset master records, however there are less than 500 on this wbs element. Did any one face this problem before? This is an production issue. Please advice.
Thanks,
Raj
Hi Raj,
Please check this SAP Note 557905 for solution.
Hope this will help.

Hi,
The FI Document split rule is defined in the config. The maximimum number of line items in a FI Dcoument is restricted to 999. If we dont want to restrict the same, we can change the FI Document Summarization in the config. Please search the Term "FI Document summarization" in SAP Notes
Hope this helps

Hi Raj,
I don't think you can increase the posting lines from 999.
The size of an FI document is limited to 999 lines.
Hope this will help.

Hi Ferry,
The note 557905 and 370061 are being applied by the development team. I somehow felt like that will not solve the problem. Thats why I had to post this in the forums. Is there any way that we can make a config change to increase the posting lines from 999?. Please advice.
Raj
