full-text search

Dear all,

In search screen , full-text search field is there wht i have to put there ?

1) DIR description

2) file extension

3) File description

4)extension

I have tryied all above option but not working may be my way of searching is wrong kindly let me know right way to use this field?

Hi Harish,

this fulltext search field could be use to search for text within the original files. This search is a TREX search and therefore first of all an index needs to be created. This could be done by transaction SKPR07 for example. Before creating the index some further TREX related settings are required too. As I'm not a TREX experts I do not know in detail which settings are required and where you can maintain them.

However this field is used for searching the originals for a specific text.
