Budget check

Hi all

my system will not checking budget during creating reservation to WBS( movement 221). System checking the budget during creating reservation to network activities. Please advice need to apply any Sap notes? Recently we applied note for budget checking during GRN and service entry sheet.now it is working fine.

In SAP reservation is a soft reservation.

Hi,

Step 1: Check in Tcode: OPUU, network Tab, if the Res./Purc. req.is selected as Immediately (3) then change it to from release (2).

Step 2: Recreate the scenario.(Create a New project and reassign the Material)

I am sure it will get sorted out.

In your case it looks like PRs were getting created immediately.

There is no provision in SAP where the budget availability control happens at the reservation level.
