Am basically functional consultant. looking farward to learn abap. what are the things to learn technically fr a techno functional consultant.?

Hello,

To become a techno-funcitonal consltant you have to get exposure on

DEBUGGING the programs

QUERY writing

SMARTFORMS for creation of layouts

LSMW & BDC For data migration from legacy to SAP

Apart from these you should have good knowledge on the tables and fields which are used to develop some Z reports based on your requirements

These are sufficinet for a functional consultant and if you want to get proficiency then you have to learn FULL ABAP.

Hi Krishna,

You should be able to make a Technical design by understanding the business requirements.

To understand the business requirements, you need the functional knowledge and business processes.

To make a desing, you should know what are the technical possibilities to achieve it inot the system.

Techno functional is a domain expert with a technical designer.

The very first step for this is to make a test plan preparation. With the test plans, you become familier with the tables used, Foreign key relations Etc..

If yu are so keen about coding, you can learn coding also.

Hi

For being a techno functional first thing you need to learn is SD tables and link between them, and also link with other modules like FI, MM etc.

Second thing you require is Knowledge of debugging. You should know how to debug a code.

Finally you should have the quality to think and execute logics.

hope this is enough for techno functional.
