I want to partially bill a debit memo until completion. I created a debit memo and billed it partially but the system gives me a message telling me that the order is complete and I can't bill the remainder. Help

Please check settings for sales order type VOV8. Do you user profile assigned to it? If yest check t-code 'BS02'.
I have checked and there is no completion information. Would this be item category related?
