Valuation Data for Article Locked by user (xyz) while processing IDOC's

Prior to getting these errors, we were getting Article Data locked for goods movements errors. I changed an MM config item from "Exclusively Lock" to "Late Lock" for goods movement and it helped.

We are getting majority of these errors. Any help. SM12 does not show that the users are locking.

Looks like your issue related to transaction, i hope any document is existed for this artilce like, PO, outbound delivery, or GR, are all may in Open status, which not processed completly, so its not allowing for movement of stock.

in which transaction your facing this error

Hello Agarwal,

What kind of IDOCs are you processing? Does the IDOCs contain many segments pertaining to the same article, or is it a single segment per article? Your error is because there is a lock on table MBEW for the article and valuation area combination. Please check this.
