duplicate file

Dear all,

For some extension like rar,png etc system has been created a douplicate original file in the DIR . means I have assigned rar file and attached sorage category , automaitically sytem has created same duplicate file below the original difference only duplicate file can not show the extension in the DIR .

why system is created duplicate file in the DIR?

Hi,

Is the system creating a duplicate file or is the file a thumbnail ?

If it's a thumbnail disable the thumbnail function for the application.

its a thumbnail file . How can I avoid this?

Remove the entries for the document type from the img setting setup work station application for thumbnails.

I have not maintained thumbnail setting IMG setting in document type wise
