Query about getting Item cost value.

Hi all,

In SAP Business One, Items Master Data, there is a field

Price List (Standard Price,Purchase Price,Last Purchase Price......) and corresponding Prices Listed for them.

Which is the actual price of an Item or a product?

Hi Janakiraman,

An Item hasn´t actual price. The combobox in the Item master data is just to select the price list you want to see. Depending on the price list, a price will be shown (The one for the Item in the price list). But there isn´t any actual price.

The firstly shown price list is the first one alphabetically.

For all Items in Inventory there should be some price fixed (Base Price) , but in pricelist there are 10 options which option corresponds to the base price

Hi JanaKiraman,

If you change the price in one of the pricelists the prices in the other (connected) lists are changed too. by example the retail sales price = 1.1 * wholesale sales price.

there really is no base price list.

Why do you want to know, what do you want to do?

Hi Janakiraman,

I think you have misundertand something. What do you wanth to get? If you need to have one Base Price list, and then some other price lists based on this one, you could use any of the 10, and then on the derivated price lists say they are based on the Base Price list.

But there isn´t any standard Base Price.

Perhaps if you explain what you need(your goal), we could help you better.
