Dear All,

Whenever I am sending a mail via SOLMAN it is getting stuck.I had configured the same in

other system and it is working fine, but only in SOLMAN it is showing error.

Error I am getting when I checked TCODE 'SOST' is msg 817

Cannot process message in SAP System
Message no. XS817

Diagnosis
Processing could not be continued due to a technical or configuration error in the SAP system.

System Response
Processing was terminated.

Procedure
Processing was terminated in the SAP system. The reason is given in the details below:

No ESMTP Plug-In Is Available for SAPconnect
Application Server Used by the Send Process:
EP-Solman
(Schedule Send Process on App.Server with Plug-In)

I checked Tcode SMICM and our ICM is running.

Also the value of parameter "rdisp/start_icman" is 'true".

Your suggestions will be highly obliged.

Regards,

PG

I guess, you have already referrend following Notes, but may be this parameter isn't in effect yet as profile may not be active yet including this parameter ? Someone might have just added but instance restart may be remaining ?

Note 757804 - Cannot process message in SAP system

Note 1236270 - End of support for SAPconnect RFC interface

However, suggestion from Juan needs to be checked and confirmed too

Check that port 25 is open and that the IP address of your Solman system is populated on the Relay Agent of your SMTP Server.

Hello Pramod,

Dear Santosh,

SCOT is configured. I have done it for my ECC as well and there it is happeing.

SAPconnect background job is also scheduled in SOLMAN to run every 5 min and default domain is

also maintained exactly the way it has been done in ECC system and is correct as we

are able to send mail via ECC system.
