Dear All,

We have installed SAP Content server and able to connect from R/3 system. While uploading documents from R/3, if the end user system has any virus on the system and if he uploads the same files to the server(Content server), will the Content server database be affected by the virus?

Regards,

Phani.

No - but if anyone displays that document and downloads the virus it will spread.

Do we need to puchase the external virus scan software like Mcafee etc., to scan the docuents before upload or is it not required?

It's highly suggested to do so for ALL client systems, not only for those uploading documents.

Do we have any way to stop uploading virus containing files to the server? If yes, can you please let me know the procedure.
