E-Sourcing (Master Agreement) publish to ECC

Hello All.

We're using E-Sourcing 5.1 and ECC 6.0

Is anyone creating "Product Category" based Master Agreements in E-Sourcing and distributing them to ECC?

ie. we'll only put $$ value in the Agreement and a line item for which product category for a $$ value. And then this Aggreement can be sent to ECC as an Outline agreement.

Then once someone creates a PO for that Product Category in ECC, this Outline agreement is displayed.

Anyone doing this or mostly everone doing Material Master based Master Agreements?

Thanks.

Tony !

Hi Toni

Please note that the Material description or the Material ID is a field in the MSA that is carried onto ECC.

This field is passed in the XML that goes into ECC as an IDOC.

Firstly check if you can create an MSA without a material, either a material ID or a free text description.

incase you can move ahead with the product category only, then check if you can push this as an OA in ECC.

If the XML doesnt require this field mandatorily, then you can proceed with this philisophy.

OA in ECC is actually used at the Product category level also, there is no abnormility, but you need to see the RFx award XML or the MSA Output XML to see the field that goes thru XI, else you may have a payload error with the XML failing in the Integration or the adapter engine
