Is it worth going to SAP PI7.1 Technology training?

Hi All,

I am basically a Basis consultant. Inorder to be ready for SOA projects from basis side, i am planning to attend PI 7.1 technology training. Can any one advise if its worth attending pi 7.1 training or not. Will there be any job calls for this?

The reason i was asking is this because the training fee is very high ..7k excluding travel&lodging.

All right buddies .. i think my question was too tough ..

Here is what i have decided. I am going to attend the certification training PI 7.1

Here are the advantages from this training.

1.Can't trust unofficial trainings (quality .. system access ... material ... more important handons part)

The handson part requires the the systems to be configured and tuned to exercises in the material .. which wont be available except in sap.

2. PI 7.1 brand new in XI product line ...

3. Need to get certified first without second thought for upcoming SOA projects funds in 2009 ... haha
