Session Persistence

Greetings,

I have a question on how persistence is handle on ITS Server (Affinity). As it appears we are a portal application for time entry and have recently noticed the application pop-us a window (DSM) reporting that the applicaiton is locked.

However, if I navigate away from and back to applicaiton, my account is not locked.

Futher investigation via HTTP Watch, reveals that the user session is handled by more than on ITS Server on the backend and may be the culprit to the problem. How does ITS Server hand session persistence between more than one ITS Server?
