ABAP HA installation Second node - startsap not working.

Hello Everyone,

I had done ABAP HA installation on HP_UX oracle database.

On first node i installed ASCS, DB, CI with virtual host name. I checked that sap is running on first node.

I created all users and group with sapinst on second node.

Now when i shutdown first node shared disks are moving to the second node. I can see all file systems.

Ex : file system dbciSID is (vir. host name ):/export/sapmnt/SID is mounted on /sapmnt/SID and other sapdata related filesystems.

Now i am trying to start sap on second node. when i give this command with SIDadm user " startsap ASCSXX dbciSID or startsap DVEBMGSxx dbciSID" its giving error that " startsap: command not found" .

Am i missing any steps on second node?

plz guide me..

Please see that you have entry in the /etc/host file.

Try to do just startsap DBCISID or for only appliaction startsap r3 DBCISID.

Please check thet the sapmnt/sid/exe and sapmnt/SID/global and /sapmnt/SID/porile file syste are mounted here.
