Hi ALL
I am pretty new to the SAP PI space and tryin to get up to speed:
Can anyone please point me to the right direction to get INFO on how to build a BPM & Secnarios in which you guys have used BPM.
Eventhough, I have come across ppl saying BPM takes up too much resources on the PI box; would like to know the secnario in which you have used a BPM ... esp the new features if any on PI 7.1.
Thank you so much,
Ritu

Hi Ritu,
In general ccBPM is used in any of the following cases.
1) Message splitting (1:N) Scenarios where you want to split one messsage into many messages(Different structures)
2) Message Merging (N:1) Merge many messages(Different structures) into one message.
3) Collecting messages.
4) Business processes involving user actions like approvals/rejections.
5) Deadline monitoring , Business processes which are timje sensitive.
6) Business processes which involve Correlation between sent messages and received messages (Loosely coupled asynchrounous messages)
For starters, you can have a look at the BPM example paterns in the SAP BASIS Software component of the Integration Repository.
