Monitor FIle to IDOC scenario

Former Member

Hi,

I have sent one file from File Sender channel to SAP.

It is successfully posted from XI, but SAP does not receive the message.

We do not have access to message monitoring.

Where else can I check for the message ?

Or where can we monitor in SAP system other than we02 and we09?

Thanks,

Vikas

Hi Vikas,

You send an idoc to SAP which is successfully processed in PI. Are the partner profiles set up for this idoc in sap? Check in WE20 of SAP and see whether they are there are not. If it is not there and if it is for first time then port, rfc destintions etc need to be setup. So please check that. If everything is done and if you didnot receive then please check this blogs for troubleshooting:

But Mine queue is empty.

It does not show up there.

Check all queus using SMQ1 and SMQ2. If all are empty then just activate all queus using sxmb_adm.

I think you are right.

The messages are still stuck in tRFC queue.

In Moni also I could see a red flag in the outbound status.

Can you please help how can this be solved?

Thanks,

You will see a Outbound Queue name in your message. Click on outbound queue which will take you to the Queue. Double click queue which will show you all messages in that queue and reason for failure. If your rectify error message and activate this queue again it will process all messages in that queue.

Hope this will help.

Vikas,

Check if messages are still stuck in T-RFC Queues on XI system. Transaction Code is SM58.

Hi Vikas,

YOu said :"We do not have access to message monitoring", then how are you sure that the message was succesfully posted from XI?

YOu can log in to RWB and go to message monitoring link and chose messages from "Integration Engine" and see if the messages were succesful or not.

Ravi

Hi Vikas,

-->Log o to yur target SAP system and check the partner profiles.Whether you had maintained the inbound parameters or not?

-->If not maintain the inbound parameters and associated process code etc......

-->Also check the RFC destiation and PORT in XI system which were pointing to target SAP system is correct or not.

For More info refer the replies whic was given by me.

Thanks

Hi Vikas,

There are other T-code also to check wether IDOC's r generated at SAP side, they are as follows, WE02, WE05, and BD87.

Jose i guess the T-Code what you specified is "st22" not " t22"

Hi,

Have a try at the belowmentioned URL and check the message status.

http://hostname:port/mdt/index.jsp

Hi,

Inside of ECC, use TCODE st22 to see runtime errors, maybe the service user does not have the authorization to post IDOCS.
