Can't change credit limit in transaction FD32

Former Member

Hi

The problem is that I can't change customer's credit limit in FD32 - the fields are blue so they can't be changed (except "Horizon"). I would like to increase the limit or remove it completely (for testing purposes). The limit is now 0.

Hi Kim,

This issue could be due to an authorization set in the customer credit data in FD32. You first enter T code FD32 and then SU53 and give an authorization check screen shot to your Basis team for giving proper authorization for change in customer credit master data.

Regards,

Santosh

Hello, if SU53 does not report any authorization issue, please check whether you are in the "status"-screen of FD32. In the "overview"-screen the fields are not editable.

Hello,

It is a issue related to authorization of your user ID for modification of credit limit of customer. Please check with your basis

Team for resolution.

hi kim,

its due to authorisation issue.

After executing fd32, enter customer, credit control area and then select"status" checkbox tehn press enter

if the fields are non-editable then in teh command field type/nsu53. this will inform you about missing authorisation. then take teh screen shot nd mail it your Basis team .

Go to STATUS view in FD32 and fill up the " Recommended Credit Limit " field and save it. This is going to update the value of credit limit in the other screen. Hope it helps.

Hi Kim,

In the first screen enter the customer number, credit control area and check the box Status. In this screen (status) you can change the credit limit if you have authorization to do it.

Thanks in advance.

Mariano.
