Hi,
one more easy question for you:
how to use the MessageArea? I couldn't find a way to display messages in there...
there is no datasource property or something like this, so what to do?
Hi Sebastian,
Check http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/04/b08841349e1909e10000000a155106/frameset.htm

Example
You can find examples of this interface element in the system in the Web Dynpro application WDR_TEST_UI_ELEMENTS, and in the component WDR_TEST_EVENTS in the MessageArea view.

Sebastian,
There is nothing to configure
WD uses "latest" MessageArea to display messages. This is latest (top-to-bottom, left-to-rigth) visible MessageArea in most nested pop-over modal window or main window.
